I saw my son off on Saturday, the atmosphere and excitement was brilliant, they are all setting off on an amazing adventure, good for them. Hopefully they will learn a lot, laugh a lot and come back home safely. Worried but excited Mother!!

I took part last year. Was an absoloutely amazing experience. Don't let the political issues worry you. The places we were warned the most about are where we found the most hospitable people. russia however, where the police get bored and drunk errr....

I was there to see them all off because my Dad's taking part. (It's part of his 60th celebrations) I'm so excited for them all! Worried but excited!

It must have been fun in Hyde park on Friday.
Both the Mongol Rally and the Africa Rally setting off from the same place.
With the political situation in some of the countries en route, I do wonder about the wisdom of these trips.
