She may be the world's most beautiful victim of the property crash. Gisele Bündchen, the world's highest-earning model, has reportedly been trying to sell her New York apartment for almost a year without success. After offering the 1,700 sq ft West Village triplex for sale in September last year, the Brazilian beauty was forced to cut the asking price from $10.9 million to $7.9 million. After removing it from the market earlier this year, she has now put it back on sale for $5.9 million. Forbes Magazine estimates that the supermodel has made $35 million this year and puts her net worth at $150 million, making the $5million price reduction a minor blow to her financial assets. Bündchen bought the minimalist pad with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a rooftop terrace with a spa bath and views over the Hudson River, for $3million in 2002. Her main New York home is a brownstone townhouse, also in the West Village, that she bought in 2004 for a reported $16.5million.

Last year she sold her Los Angeles home for $3.98million. Her boyfriend of the past two years, the professional American football player Tom Brady, is selling his New York flat simultaneously.
