Versace does designer flats in Dubai

The design family has built the second Palazzo Versace

You might wear Versace jeans, tote a Versace bag and use giant Versace sunglasses to protect your eyes from paparazzi flashbulbs - but as a true fan you will not be content until you live the complete Versace life. Now you can, at a new development being built in Dubai.

Picture the set of Sofia Coppola's film Marie Antoinette, in cream, gold and silver, and you will be close to imagining the interiors at the second Palazzo Versace. The first was established on the Australian Gold Coast in 2000, and has attracted such glam guests as Jordan and Peter Andre.

Santo Versace, brother to Donatella and the late Gianni, is the business brain behind the Versace superbrand; he was set to speak at the London launch at Spencer House on Tuesday but could not, having just been elected to the Italian Parliament. There, he will no doubt carry on reforming the world, one silk cushion cover at a time.
