Win tickets to the ATP finals

The judging for the show gardens at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show has finished and the results are in – with an allotment garden taking top slot.
The Growing Tastes Allotment Garden from Winchester Growers scooped a Gold medal and the Best In Show award with its portrayal of a traditional family allotment. Designed by Jon Wheatley, Mary Payne and Terry Porter, you won’t find it in the traditional show garden area – instead, it is sandwiched between the Cookery Theatre and the Growing Tastes Marquee in the eastern end of the showground.
In the other show garden categories, Pepa's Karst Garden (designed by Borut Benedejcic) won Best Small Garden, The Rain Chain (by Wendy Allen) won Best Sustainable Garden, the highly imaginative It’s Hard To See (by Rebecca Butterworth, Victoria Pustygina, Ludovica Ginanneschi) won Best Conceptual Garden and Jane Seymour (by Tracy Foster) won the Six Wives Of Henry VIII Garden.
