Saudi prince buys £42m worth of Park Lane and Knightsbridge property

London still lures the world's richest buyers

The appeal of London appears to be undimmed for foreign buyers, including one Saudi prince for whom Quintessentially Estates had the recent pleasure of finding a home. He brought six members of staff to each viewing and insisted that nobody walk in front of him - including the agents showing him the properties. The prince finally settled on two vast pads, one on Park Lane and one in Knightsbridge, with a combined price of £42 million. He instructed Quintessentially's interior design team to build a nightclub in the basement of the Park Lane home, and a swimming pool with a poolside cocktail bar. The prince likes his lavish new homes so much that he has not yet found time to stay in either of them.
