Housebuyers are only a small part of the housing marketplace. Perhaps it is time pressure should be brought to bear on housebuiders who are profiteering on the back of the property market and the lenders whose standard variable rates currently include a 34% profit margin (7.75 SVR compared to 5.75 BOE base rate).
Seems the housebuyer could be treated more fairly by big business.
