Arctic Monkeys’ world tour is clashing with the attempts of their drummer, Matt Helders, to move house. Like the rest of the band, Helders, who turned 21 earlier this month, grew up in High Green, an anonymous Sheffield suburb. All those album sales, however, mean he’s been able to invest in a place in the city at a younger age than most first-time buyers. “I’ve just got a house in Sheffield, but it’s hard to get things done when we’re away all the time,” he said while in Seattle. “I don’t know when I’ll move in, but it will probably be a while. I still need furniture and everything.” The band’s guitarist, Jamie Cook, has also bought a flat, but is reportedly reconsidering, and brings his washing home to his parents. Will there be a number about dodgy estate agents on their next album?
