This British “horror” film is set in Spain and is full of sun, sea, sex and slashings. Three working-class girls from Leeds in search of a good time meet a group of nice middle-class blokes and pop back to their yacht. Loadsa drugs later, out comes the camera, off come the clothes and the good times turn gory. The first-time director and co-writer, Olly Blackburn, has some well-drawn characters and shows the dark side of the hedonistic pursuits of contemporary youth. The cast is good, but the film lacks dramatic tension and descends into silly improbability as it serves up the mandatory blood and butchery.
